Summer fun!

We have worked with a number of different areas of the department to produce a fantastic range of activities for children and young people to get involved in over the summer holidays.

We have a range of different activities for all ages available across the city during the holidays, many of which are free or available for a small cost.

With everything from biking and climbing to video-making, animation and creative writing, there's bound to be something to interest you or your children. There are also trips to visitor attractions and sporting facilities in Edinburgh and beyond.

Bangholm Outdoor Centre has also organised a programme to give young people an enjoyable introduction to an exciting range of outdoor activities. Organised by the Sports and Outdoor Education Unit, you can be assured that these sessions will be run to the highest possible safety standards using some of the most experienced and qualified instructors in the city.
